What is Kiwi Woggle?
Kiwi Woggle Camp involves Patrols competing for the Kiwi Woggle Trophy by way of participation in activities, teamwork and applying the Queensland Scouts Camping Standards.
Patrols will camp independently, away from their Leaders in Sub Camps under the supervision of Sub Camp Leaders.
Young or inexperienced patrols can also attend Kiwi Woggle with Leader Support to gain valuable experiences and nights under canvas.
There are so many different fun and challenging activities at Kiwi Woggle for your Patrol to enjoy.
Activites for the Leaders
For leaders it is a time to let the Scouts free and watch them hopefully succeed and have a lot of fun along the way. Leaders are an essential component of Kiwi Woggle with the smooth running of activities and a variety of other positions available. If you have a particular skill or activity you would like to share or need to add some hours to your adventerous activity logbook then please contact us and we will endeavour to make it happen. Its about supporting each other through the fellowship of Scouting.
Supporting your Scouts
Your support role for the scouts will be before the arrival at Kiwi Woggle and after final parade.
We have tried to make the registration, paperwork and organisation for Kiwi Woggle 2018 as simple as possible. We have provided posters to advertise the event, C4 and C5 to help with organising the patrols and a new shiney website to provide all the necessary details and to register your patrols on.
Once onsite the Scouts will work in their patrols (Under the supervision of sub-camp leaders) while you get to help out with a variety of activities and tasks, meet new and interesting people and have some fun along the way. You will also be catered for (if you choose that option).
